This is a vintage brass commemorative belt buckle issued to AT&T workers involved in the installation or rollout of AT&T Lightguide (fiber optic cable) systems, manufactured by CD Hit in the USA. Circa 1980s following the introduction of AT&T's "Globe" logo designed by Saul Bass in 1983 and the deployment of Lightguide fiber lines. Solid Brass / Cast Metal with antique brass finish. Features the classic AT&T globe logo above a stylized starburst/fiber optic light burst design across a horizontal line, with "LIGHTGUIDE" prominently raised at the bottom.
